The video on the right will show you step-by-step instructions on how to use the Model C water rocket launch pad. The steps are reiterated in the instructions below.

STEP 1

Unravel both the pressure line and launch release cord to a safe, designated point.

STEP 2

Nail launch pad down to ensure stability during launch.

STEP 3

Attach compressor adaptor to the end of pressure line, making sure the yellow butterfly valve (shown in step 8) is closed.

STEP 4

Turn air compressor to max.

STEP 5

Measure desired quantity of water and fill the rocket. You then can place rocket on the launch pad and slide the locking plate over.

STEP 6

Press to fit removable nipple into baseplate of launch pad.

STEP 7

Set the regulator to desired pressure psi. (This only needs to be done once per launch session).

Step 8

Turn yellow butterfly valve on to pressurize the rocket.

Step 9

You are now ready to launch! You can repeat launchers with this configuration as fast as you can load the rocket on the launch pad and pressurize with the yellow butterfly valve. Typical time between launches is only 15 seconds!
